We specialise in the conversion of sunflower extraction meal into protein-rich products as a substitute for soybean meal for animal and human nutrition and in the creation of green energy sources to protect rainforests.
Position overview:
We are looking for a Area Sales (m/f/d) to join our team. The ideal candidate will spearhead our sales initiatives within the specified territory, focusing on our sunflower extraction meal processing process. This role will involve building and maintaining extensive relationships with stakeholders in the oilseed processing industry, including milling companies, seed and feed distributors, the food industry and green energy producers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with key stakeholders in the oilseed processing, food and green energy industries.
- Identify and pursue sales opportunities for high protein processing technology and related equipment.
- Provide expert advice and solutions to customers tailored to their specific sunflower extraction meal processing needs.
- Keep abreast of industry trends and advancements to ensure our offerings remain competitive.
- Liaise with the technical team to understand and promote the features and benefits of the technology.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in the oilseed processing industry, milling technology and/or food industry with a focus on high protein content. Experience as a trader with direct access to the relevant production processes is highly welcome.
- Strong network within the industry and access to key decision makers.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills with knowledge of English and the language(s) of the desired sales territory.
- Deep understanding of the local market, including specifics, challenges and opportunities.
- Ability to travel within the sales territory and internationally.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, agricultural sciences or a related field. Relevant experience in the industry may substitute for formal education.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant sales or business development experience in oilseed processing, food industry or related field.
